It is so important to have staple pieces in your wardrobe. My boyfriend jeans, black tops, pink bag,ย circular tortoiseshell sunglasses, and Club Monaco ring are all pieces that I couldn’t live without. Together they form my signature look and on their own they can be styled into a whole new outfit. Let me know in the comments what your staple pieces are in your wardrobe!

Lush Don’t Look At Me Face Mask

FullSizeRender 4 (1)

Words cannot describe the love that I have for the Don’t Look At Me face mask from Lush. Before this mask came into my life I was using the Lush Oatifix face mask. Although it was great for moisturizing my skin I felt as though I needed something more. On my most recent trip to Lush a lovely sales associate recommended I try the Don’t Look At Me mask and I am so grateful that she did!

The face mask contains ingredients such as ground rice, murmur butter, and lemon juice. I love how it is exfoliating, moisturizing, brightening, and refreshing all at the same time. My skin has never been more smooth and I owe it all to the Don’t Look At Me face mask. I hope you enjoyed this review and I will see you soon!

Parsons x Teen Vogue: A Thorn Among Roses

Hello everyone! I hope you are having a beautiful Saturday! Today I wanted to share with you the photos I took for my assignment for the Parsons and Teen Vogue Certificate Program I am currently taking online. I wrote about the course in a past post so click here to learn more about it. The assignment was to take a set of photos fitting a certain theme of photography we had been collecting inspiration for in past assignments. Me, being the Tim Walker-obsessed person I am, choose the theme of magic realism. I set off at 6:30 am, camera and tripod in hand, to my favourite garden. The goal of these photos was to contrast lightness with darkness, therefore creating a sense of magic. Despite the strange looks I received from the people that ran by and early morning dog walkers, the shoot went amazing! In the wise words of Sophia Amoruso:

“No matter where you are in life, you’ll save a lot of time by not worrying too much about what other people think about you. The earlier in your life that you can learn that, the easier the rest of it will be.”
