This past week I was on a cruise to Alaska with my family to celebrate my grandparents’ 50th wedding anniversary. Last year I also cruised to Alaska,ย so I was excited when I discovered that I was going again. There is something so relaxing about being on a boat and I love all of the towns that we visited. We stopped at Ketchikan, Juneau, and Skagway. My favourite town is Juneau, the capital of Alaska, which can only be reached by boat or plane. Juneau is full of brightly coloured buildings, small windy roads, with tons of cafes and art galleries. Unlike last year, Alaska was foggy and rainy and my family and I were very ill prepared for the weather.ย Even though we were cold while touring the towns it didn’t stop us from enjoying each one to its full extent. My favourite parts of the cruise were the towns we stopped in, the night time performances, and the amazing food. Overall it was a fantastic trip and it was very special to celebrate my grandparents’ anniversary with them.
